Greg Buren- a.k.a. FunkDaddy & I go back to my high school daZe growing up in South Seattle! He is without a doubt a top notcth D.J. that probably truth be known has to turn more gigs, and producing oppurtunites down because simply there is only 365 days in a year! Greg worked on E-40's first solo album and many more of 40 Waters over the years, the "Bay Area Sound" that is well known worldwide had alot of help and influence form Seattle's Puget Sound hip-hop producers- Mike Mosely & Greg Buren just to name a couple! When The Late California Legend Rapper Mac Dre was released from the joint, who did he want & hire to be there to get him back on tracks in the studio? Seattle's Own D.J. Funkdaddy! As a matter of facts Greg met him down in The Bay the very next day after his release and they started grindin out tracks! Greg is one of them friends that you dont have to see or talk to and keep in touch with everyday to have a friendship, when you see him its all half hugs & good times and catchin up with eachothers lives! He is one of them behind the scene cats who is a very bright star to the stars of Hip Hop & R & B! Greg will be on The One's & The Two's this New Year's Eve at the biggest party going in Seattle and quite possibly the whole #BESTCOAST!
