Alice in Chains : Layne Attacks 'Nazi' Supporter

This Just In From Seattle Music History!!!       Layne Staley doesnt just give this Nazi Supporter a verbal attack, he yanks him up on stage and gives him a couple smacks to the face!  I'm not gonna write here that Seattle doesnt have racist people and no racial problems because we do! On thee other hand we do have many many people that feel and act this way about racism as The Late Great  Mr. Layne Staley of #ALICEINCHAINS  demonstrates while on tour in Sweden! Thanks Layne for just one more of the many reasons why we miss you and thank you for representing not only our music scene in a top notch way but representing our city and many of our peoples progressive ways of BEING & THINKING & DOING WHATS RIGHT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GROUP! #TRUE #SEATTLEROCKSTAR #LAYNESTALEY

Kurt Cobain's Suicide Challenged in Film 'Soaked in Bleach'

Kurt Cobain's Suicide Challenged in Film 'Soaked in Bleach'

This Just In From Seattle Music History!!!
The investigation into Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain‘s death has been criticized by many for 20 years. All types of voices have screamed incompetence at police, while others shout conspiracy, believing that Cobain’s wife, Courtney Love, had a hand in Kurt’s death. Those themes have been turned into the docudrama ‘Soaked in Bleach, which will surely force viewers to reconsider their presumptions of Kurt Cobain’s suicide.
Interest in Kurt Cobain has hit a peak recently, as the 20th anniversary of his death recently passed by on April 5. Countless tributes were paid, but with the world focused on Cobain once again, the time couldn’t be more perfect to release a trailer for ‘Soaked in Bleach,’ a new docudrama featuring actors playing the roles of Cobain and Love.
The four-minute-long trailer showcases interview clips with individuals such as Private Investigator Tom Grant, who was hired by Love “to find her missing husband.” However, Grant shares that a number of red flags began popping up while dealing with Courtney Love, leading the investigator to believe something was awry. “This woman’s husband had just been found dead and there didn’t seem to be any sadness whatsoever. It’s not very often that a private investigator accuses his client of committing a crime.”
Further experts from the fields of Forensic Science, Forensic Document Examination and Investigative Journalism are also interviewed for the film, as is former Chief of Police for the Seattle PD, Norm Stamper. “I would tell you right now that if I were the Chief today, I would re-open this investigation.”
‘Soaked in Bleach’ is tentatively slated for a 2014 release. Watch the official trailer above. To check out the film’s Facebook page, click here.

THIS JUST IN FROM SEATTLE MUSIC HISTORY!       A lot of you know that these two Seattleites recently won 4 Grammy's at the 2014 annual music award show! I have included a song/video of theirs with this post; it's a tribute to Dave Niehuas the Seattle Mariners Color Commentator since day one of The Mariners inception to The Major Leagues back in 1977! They did this song titled "MY OH MY" back in 2011 after Dave Niehaus suddenly passed away due to heart complications. At a celebration of life ceremony at our baseball stadium;   Safeco Field was full of fan's paying homage to one of The City of Seattle's Biggest Celebrities Ever! Niehaus through the power of communication could bring you to the stadium via radio waves and you would feel like you were in the front row sitting next to the man himself! The title of the track "MY OH MY" is a staple phrase Dave used during his tenure with the Mariners whenever an incredible play was made!  the video above is an interview done in New York City with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis back in 2012!
