Dear Jerry hello let me introduce myself
My name is Kenyatta Arington Back In the year of 1970 I was discovered by the late Jimi Hendrix
I came up with a ideal for a song called "MIND YOUR BUSINESS" which Jimi collaborated with me on this song ! You see as one of Jimi's first discoveries Jim was my producer mentor collaborator and friend
The issue that I wish to bring to your attention has to do with a song I wrote called "Phoenix Bird" was recorded by the three of us together at Electric Lady Studios NYC July 2 1970 ( Jim Hendrix and Juma Sultan) should be listed as co- collaborators/ Jimi Hendrix on BASS/
Juma Sultan on CONGAS/ Kenyatta Arrington on FLUTE. Below is a photo copy of that recording (continue below)
As it turns out here today I have learned that Experience Hendrix LLC planning the release of some new recordings which include My song from this jam session

Greed can be a powerful ally!! It looks like Janie Hendrix and Eddie Kramer have done it ! The music I wrote and RECORDED at Electric Lady Studios NYC July 1970 with, Juma Sultan/Jimi Hendrix collaborating with me Jimi Hendrix on bass(a my request) and Juma Sultan on congas is going to be released with out my permission nor Juma 's since I wrote the song in the first place called "Phoenix Bird " We started working on the draft jamming to explore the the work's direction.
But it's good news for me!!
Because They own the tape the music is on but not the music on the tape Jimi made sure the he wrote my name on the box with the tape inside .Protecting me for the future. So let them release it great ! But I'll be back when they do !!
